Continuation of the Trips...

Continuing from the Dallas trip....here are the pictures from the show in Missouri...

It.Was.Cold!  The trip was during one of the big snow storms and the convention center wasn't connected to the hotel.  So, we would bundle up and stroll the boys over in between naps.
Hunter being amazed by his reflection.
They discovered toilet paper and soap.  (This is where Hays learned how to flush a toilet!)

My mom and I were thrilled to discover how much they love to wrestle in their pack 'n play!!

This is Kevin.  AKA...Hays' best friend on the trip.  Kevin works for Will and for some reason Hays LOVES him.  I  know it doesn't look like it from the picture, but he does!!

This is Cindy (Will's secretarry) who helps me and Will out A TON even when it's not business-related.  A couple of weeks ago, the girl that usually comes to help me with the boys and clean twice a week couldn't come.  So, Cindy came to rescue and mopped my floors and did my laundry!  Really, I don't know what we would do without her!
Eating our lunch at the booth with D.D.
On trips, anything goes!  Including chewing on a Tootsie Roll for some entertatinment!
They loved looking at all the deer and saying "Du"" Du"
Hangin' out
We  both loved playing with our cell phone.

Me and my sweet boys!!!

P.S.-I noticed that Will isn't in any of the pictures from either trip!  He WAS there and he DID help out A LOT!  I guess when he was keeping them I was either stuffing my face or sitting down and taking a few breaths by myself!

Traveling Twins!

A couple of days after their Birthday party, we headed to Texas and to Missouri for 2 deer shows with Will.  We are SO fortunate to have 2 sets of grandparents would love to help out anytime, so we were excited when they said they could come!  Nana (Will's mom) braved the 12-hour road trip to Texas with us and then flew back home a couple days later.  Then Grandad and D.D. (my parents) flew over and spent the rest of the Texas trip with us and then came with us to Missouri.  Grandad flew home the day after we arrived in Missouri and D.D. stayed until the end!  whewww!  What would we have done without your help?!  Also,  the day before we left we found out that both boys had double ear infections, but our Pediatrician assured us to go ahead and the antibiotics would kick in quickly.  Well...on the trip Hunter began running 103 fever and was pretty lifeless.  We continued the Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours for the next 3 days because his fever continued (even through the night!).  Finally, towards the end of our time in Texas he felt better!  Despite the sickness, it was a fun trip!

These are the pictures from Texas and I will post the pictures from Missouri later because H and H are waking up!

Eating in the RV

Sweet Hays doing a little yoga...
While Hunter figured out how to climb on EVERYTHING!!!
Don't worry, D.D. was close by :)

Hanging out at the booth with Dada

VERY typical in our house!

We love our Grandad!

Again, a very typical scene in our house!  Hanging on Mama!

Grandad set up his IPAD so we could watch Kezza Bee.

They were fascinated with the bathtub in the hotel.  Our bathtub at home doesn't have a faucet.  I know, weird!!  Our water comes out of jets.  Anyway, they thought this was SO cool!

Hays even thought it was funny to stick his head under it.  This child is not scared of water!
I just had to show you what Hays does when I get him out of his bath.  He just lays here, bundled up in his towel until I move him.  How sweet is that??  I don't know if it's because he is so little that he gets really cold or what, but it is so sweet!  Meanwhile, Hunter is has lasted about 2 secs. in his towel and he is off!!

1st Birthday Party!!!

I realize this post comes more than a month late, but better late than never!!  We got a new computer (we were ready to throw our old one out the window!) and I haven't gotten my pictures off of it yet.  So...I will have to do another extremely late Christmas post whenever that happens.  So, on to the party...We had a wonderful party for the boys at Dream Ranch (the hunting lodge that my husband runs) and it was an afternoon filled with lots of friends and family!  It was a really special day for us as we celebrated the lives of 2 miracle boys.  I made a video for them, which I played at the party, and will post it when I find it one day :)
Opening gifts from Mama and Dada that morning
As good as a family photo we could get!

It was on New Year's Day so I used silver stars and put #1's on them.  The theme was also balls, because H and H LOVE "Ba"s"!!
(Don't you love the huge Cape Buffalo in the background??  We were definitely at a hunting lodge!)

From this picture it looks as though they both enjoyed their cupcakes and everything was great.  Until we move on to the next picture...
I put the candle a little too close to him and right when I blew it out, he  touched it and burned himself.  Talk about feeling like Mom of the Year.  Everyone is singing "Happy Birthday" and the song suddenly comes to a stop when Hunter goes hysterical...

Poor little buddy :(
Meanwhile, Hays was digging in!!
And finally, Hunter calmed down enough and he did too!

We attempted a few photo opps with friends...
Didn't work.
So, we tried one with our cousin.  Didn't work either.
(I love Will's hands here.  As if they are really going to mind, "Stay!".

That was enough excitement for one day, so after that we called it a night!
