Excess!!

I have a philosophy of buying everything in excess so you don't have to worry about running out! I've always been this way with toothpaste, shampoo, etc. so it is no surprise that I'm this way with baby stuff! I can't tell you how many times I've sat down in my chair to nurse and realized I didn't have a burp cloth. OR opened up the drawer for a wash cloth (which I use for bathing and also for wiping off their mouths in the kitchen after eating) and found nothing. So, I decided to fix the problem and buy in bulk...

Burp cloths on my chair...(some are in the laundry room too!)

Baby Food...

Plenty of bowls and spoons

Bibs
(These were actually ALL gifts and I thought I would never use them all! This basket has been empty at times!)

Wash cloths

I knew that laundry and dishes were already overwhelming at my house and that I wouldn't be doing it any more often than I already do, so hopefully this way I won't run out of the things I use every day in excess!!

The church nursery totally wiped us out!

We tried the exersaucer for the first time and decided to bring it home with us!
Hays LOVED it of course!
We lowered it enough so that he can stand and he puts all of his weight on his feet!

Hunter wasn't so sure at first, but he likes it now. I don't think he knows he has legs yet...he just sits in the seat, leans back and plays with the toys.

P.S. We finally went to the Pediatrician for our 6 Month check up and here are our stats...
Hunter 13 lbs. 2 oz.
24 inches
Hays 10 lbs. 10 oz.
24 inches
Their 0-3 Month clothes are FINALLY getting too small!!! Yeah, we are growing up :)

Pennsylvania

We took another RV trip last week to Pennsylvania! Will needed to check on things at the Dream Ranch farm there, so we loaded up and drove 12 hours. We actually broke up the trip by driving until midnight and spending the night at a truck stop(not kidding). The boys did great!! I played with them during their awake time and then when it was time for nap they just went to sleep in their carseats. The way home was a different story because they were sick of their carseats!! All in all, it was a good trip and I was glad we did it!

4th of July and Baptism

4th of July was a big weekend at the Ainsworth's!! Hunter and Hays were baptized and our entire family was able to come for their special day. For us, it was a wonderful reminder of the Lord's faithfulness to us for giving us these 2 precious gifts. We in turn, were able to show our faithfulness to God, by giving our boys to Him. What that means to us is that we trust fully in God's plan for their lives no matter what. It was a fun weekend filled with wonderful fellowship with our families!

P.S. I'm on my parent's computer and can't figure out how to move these pictures so they are in no particular order!

Their baptism...

It was in the middle of their nap so they cried the ENTIRE time. Will and I had to switch babies half way through so I could calm Hays down. By the end, Hays was sound asleep in my arms. Jackie(our Pastor) ended up baptizing them in our arms :)
