Christmas #1

We began our Christmas festivities at Shannon's (Will sister) house in Birmingham.  I don't have very many pictures because I forgot my camera, but it was so much fun!  Shannon, thanks for hosting us!

Visiting Paw Paw at Work

I took the boys to see Paw Paw at work one day.  I had been wanting to do this since they were born and it only took me a year to do it!  BTW...he only works 30 minutes away!

A good nap is always essential before an outing!
(notice they are both snuggled up to their lovies.  My sister-in-law's mother gave them to the boys and I don't know what we'd do without them!  They cry when they drop them out of the bed and won't go to sleep without them.)

Paw Paw was so proud and walked them around to all the offices!
(I hate that Hunter's eyes were closed!)

We loved sitting at Paw Paw's desk!
Of course they had to wear their Caterpillar shirts to represent ;)

After that it was back to Nana and Paw Paw's house to eat, nap, and play for the rest of the day!

We love you Paw Paw!  It was such a fun day!

Fun Visitors!

One day Nana, Shannon, and Hannah Grace came over to play.  We read lots of books!

Shannon reading their absolute favorite book, Bubbles Bubbles.
(This is so crazy, but Will and I actually met the publisher of this book at one of the deer shows and his wife wrote this book!!!!  I was flipping out as Will recited it to him!)

Playing in mommy's room

We're ready for bath!!!

Baby Stan

Sometime in November, my best friends from high school were all together for Anna's baby shower.  Baby Stan is actually due any day now!!

Katie looks like she spends the winter in Jamaica and we all look so pasty next to her!!

10 Months

I realized I never posted a 10 month post, but sadly, I don't remember what they were doing almost 3 months ago!!!  So, here are the pictures...

Hannah Grace's 2nd Birthday Party

Back in November, our niece Hannah Grace, turned 2 !  She had a Dora Birthday Party and we were so glad we were there to celebrate with her!

Hays was in LOVE with Hannah Grace's new kitchen!!!  He played with it most of the day!

Hays also enjoyed a ride with his friend Hudson!  The funniest thing to me about these pictures is that they are going to be in the same grade!!!  Hudson is really big for his age and Hays is tiny for his!  haha

Happy 2nd Birthday Hannah Grace!

Okay...Let me explain!

Let me explain why I haven't been blogging and please forgive me!!  The past month has been a whirlwind for the Ainsworth family!
  • We spent Christmas with my family in Mississippi and had a blast.  All 4 of us children were home, plus 4 grandchildren, and my grandmother.  We all stayed about 1 week and hardly ever left the house!  My sister's 2 kids came with a virus from Charlotte and my 2 boys came from Alabama with another one!  When we arrived in Tupelo, Hays was running 102 fever.  For the remainder of the week we battled coughing, snotty noses, and cranky kids.  I know it doesn't sound like much fun, but somehow, with us all together it was!
  • We came home a couple days before New Years to plan our sweet boys' 1st Birthday Party!!!  It was a big bash including lots of dear friends who prayed fervently alongside us for Hunter and Hays.  It was a special time and I will share more about it in another post.
  • 2 days after that we were off with Daddy to 2 deer shows.  One in Dallas and one in St. Louis.  The day before we left Hunter and Hays were still battling this sickness since Christmas.  I took them to the doctor and they both had double ear infections!  We started Amoxicillin that night and he assured us that we would see improvement in the next couple of days.  WRONG!  On the way to Dallas, Hunter began running a fever (103) and would continue to do this for the next 3 days.  He woke up every 3 or 4 hours during the night and was just pitiful!  After that, I began to see the light at the end of the tunnel!  By St. Louis, both boys were pretty much back to their old selves!  Until... Hunter started throwing up on the way home!!!
  • We got back home Saturday night and attempted to get settled back in after what seemed like an eternity!  On Tuesday Hunter began running a fever again and by Wednesday morning Hays was too.  We went back to the doctor and he said it's probably another virus!  AHHHHHH!  Today is Thursday and so far nobody has run fever and they don't seem to be as fussy as they have been.  I just want my happy baby boys back :(
  • So, does everyone understand why I haven't been blogging??  I promise, over the next few weeks days I will attempt to catch up on our last month of life.
  • Apart from the sickness, this age is so much fun!!  They are attempting to say a few words, clapping their hands, walking behind toys, walking around tables, climbing on chairs, discovering the toilet and how to flush it (HAYS!), understanding where things are when I ask them, and smiling A LOT!  We love them so much!
