The Sweetest Friends Ever!

My friends from college took me to eat at Cheesecake Factory as a celebration for the babies!! We had such a fun time of fellowship together and I loved having a girl's night with all of them (Evelyn too!). These girls are amazing friends and have been there for me in a way I can not repay. During my infertility they always called, texted, emailed, and some would go to my doctor's appointments just so I wouldn't have to go alone. Most of them knew more about my body and cycles than they ever wanted to!! However, they were always there. Through my roller coaster of emotions and TONS of tears. They would cry with me when it was hard and praise the Lord with me when He was always faithful. I will never forget the phone calls to each of them when I found out I was pregnant. They were probably as happy as I was :) I hope that I am true and faithful friend like each of these precious girls are to me. I love each of you with all my heart!!

They did WAY TOO MUCH and gave me a gift card to buy this...

I went the next morning and picked it up!! It's great because I can take out the seats when they are little and put their carseats in it. I absolutely LOVE IT!! Now I have a front to back and a side by side. Here's a picture of the BOB that Nana and Paw Paw gave us...

Now, lets just see if I can get Hunter and Hays out of the house by myself to use them!!!!

22 Week Ultrasound!

I went to my 22 Week check up today and everything looked great! The babies both weigh about 1 lb. a piece. She did a regular ultrasound and then flipped over to the 4D just to show me what it will look like. I couldn't believe how clear it was!! We will actually have an entire 4D ultrasound done on DVD at my next appointment (26 weeks) because she said with twins if you wait too long, then you can't get good pictures because it's so crowded in there!

This is a picture of both babies' heads. This just shows you how close they are to each other

This is a 4D picture of Hays(he's really the only one that was cooperating!)

Hays again. Look at that sweet face :)

Okay, this picture is Hunter's face, but that's Hays' arm! It looks like they are touching, but they really aren't physically touching because of the membrane between them. Isn't that precious? They are snuggling through a "wall"!!

22 weeks!

I am 22 weeks today! I have finally started to feel them move in the last few weeks and just within the last few days, Will has been able to put his hand on my belly and feel them. It is weird because sometimes the thumps are on one side and then a couple hours later I will feel thumps on the other side. I can tell if it's Hays that's awake or Hunter! Wait...does this mean they are going to be on totally different sleeping schedules when they are born??? AHHH!!
I have certainly gotten a lot bigger later! I've gained a total of 21 lbs, but right now it just looks like I've swallowed a basketball. I'm still trying to walk 3 miles with my friend Whitney about 3 days a week. I'm sure by the end of my pregnancy my walking buddy is going to want to leave me in the dust as I waddle along, but so far I still feel great! My next appointment is this Thursday so I'll post those pictures soon!

I was showered!!

Sunday was my first baby shower and it was so much fun!!! So many people walked along side Will and me during our journey through infertility, and most of them were there to share in the CELEBRATION of 2 precious boys! It was truly a party and we both felt extremely loved and blessed. We still daily think of these boys as miracles straight from the Lord, so it was fun to share that joy with those we love so much! Thank you to all who hosted or just came to be a part. We loved every second of it!

The cutest cake ever!

Tons of fun presents to open. (there were 2 of everything!)

Denise painted Hunter and Hays a picture!

We have names!!!!

Yes, we have names!! Some of you may know that Will and I have agreed on first names since the very beginning, but have debated about middle names. Yesterday, at my baby shower, a friend of mine helped resolve the issue by monogramming some burp clothes for me with the initials that I wanted! Guess I won! This morning over breakfast Will officially gave in, so our boys' names are........

Hunter William Ainsworth
and
Hays Foster Ainsworth

They will go by Hunter and Hays. I will post pictures of my baby shower soon!
P.S. Thanks, Michelle ;)

18 Week Check-up

Today was my 18 week check-up and everything looked great! They did the detailed ultrasound where they looked at every part of both babies very closely. All the organs seem to be working properly and they are growing as they should. They both weigh the same at 9 oz. One baby measured 18 weeks 3 days and the other measured 18 weeks 5 days. Also there is no doubt they are both boys!! I will refrain from showing you the very obvious picture we got, but yes, 2 boys! Will and I both teared up at this ultrasound because they are really looking like babies now. It is AMAZING what you can see on that screen. They were pretty calm today. Moving normally, just chilled out I guess. They are precious and we can't wait to meet them both!
P.S.-I was going to post names today, but I called Will and he said not yet. Most of you know the first names we are thinking, but we are still debating those middle names! I'm not budging ;)
Baby A
The ultrasound tech thought it was so neat because they were in the exact same position today. They both were laying the same with the same hand up by their face. It was so sweet!
Baby B
After the appointment we went to eat with Shannon (Will's sister) and Hannah Grace. The waiter took the picture at the oddest angle and it cut off Shannon's face. sorry!
Will was in charge of entertaining Hannah Grace and she laughed at Uncle Will the whole time!

Random Things

This is a post of random things I've been doing...

We celebrated Billy's (Will's dad) Birthday at the end of August. We played a game called right, left, center. You play with 3 dice and each person starts out with 3 $1 bills. The pot looks big, but we played with 9 people so the pot was $27. It was so fun!!

Will's Family

Mee Mee was the big winner!!

We were the big losers!!

The Birthday Boy

Will, his brother Austin, his sister Shannon, and Scout

We also went to an engagement party for Austin and Ann Ever. Unfortunately all the pictures with them were taken with someone else's camera.

14 week belly

Will and me at the shower. Isn't that view awesome?

My friend Mary Shea (AKA our Pastor's wife)

We went to a deer show in Pennsylvania. I only took this one picture because nothing really exciting takes place at a deer show!! You can't see it but I'm sporting a t-shirt that advertises Will's big buck, Dream Ranger. What a sweet wife :)

16 Week Belly

That's about it! I go for my 18 check up next Thursday so I'll have some ultrasound pictures!! I still never figured out how to upload the DVD so if anyone knows please tell me!
