6 Months!

Although we haven't gone to the Pediatrician for our stats yet, we are officially 6 months old!!!

Hays

Hunter

We have both found our feet and LOVE to play with them...

and eat them!

We now eat oatmeal or rice cereal twice a day. We have also added pears to the mix and this was our reaction...

Hays' latest obsession is eating!!! I know you can't tell because he is still just as skinny as ever, but this boy can eat! He opens his mouth and reaches out his hands for every bite. I finally just gave him the spoon and he got pretty close...
He eats twice as much as Hunter does and whines in between bites when I am feeding a bite to Hunter. Hunter could care less about eating and keeps his mouth sealed shut when I hold up the spoon :)

You will hardly find Hunter any other way than like this...

I think he may crawl before he sits up!

Getting Big!

They are starting to look big to me doing this...

I usually put them both in the pack n play together while I get their bath stuff ready. Today I came back and this is how they were...
Maybe it's time for Plan B!

Some Firsts

We have had 2 firsts lately...

Eating oatmeal for the first time!
Verdict: MESSY!!!!!
I think 1 drop got in their mouths!

(P.S.-yes I know this bumbo is pink! It's borrowed from our niece Hannah Grace!)

Swimming for the first time!
Verdict: Okay.
Neither loved it, but Hunter probably liked it better! Hays was probably saying, "Mom, my skin is too white to be out here!!"

We're 5 Months!!

Hunter and Hays are 5 months now!! Even though they are tiniest 5-month-olds to everyone else, we think they are big! Though we have no official heights and weights this month, Hays is around 11 lbs. and Hunter is around 12 lbs. They both roll from their back to their front all the time now. In fact, Hunter has become a tummy sleeper. I put him on his back to bed and he rolls right over onto his belly. They are both becoming more verbal. Hunter is more verbal than Hays, but Hays is more physically active than Hunter. Everything about them is completely different and we love that! People still ask us if they are identical and I want to say "Are you crazy??"

Reading a magazine with Daddy

Watching Praise Baby with Grandad.
Praise Baby has become the best way to get 15 minutes of silence EVER!!!
We went to the garden to pick some squash

Thankfully, Whitney let us borrow her other activity mat! We love having 2!This is what I wake up to every morning! Hilarious!
(We just ordered an extra camera so now we get to watch both of them just by changing the channel on the monitor!)
I gave them a lovie for the first time and the both LOVED it!! However, I have to watch them in the monitor because they put it over their head sometimes and it makes me nervous.

Playing in the Bumbos! No matter where they are or what they are doing, Hunter is always watching Hays. It's hilarious! He always looks like he wants the toy Hays has and if we switch he still does it!
I realized that Scout doesn't make the blog very much :)

Sometimes at the end of the day my kitchen looks like this...
Anyone else???
