Addison Faith Ainsworth

On Tuesday, September 27th we had to be at the hospital at 6:00 A.M., which meant we left our house at 4:30!  Of course neither one of us slept well, but regardless we are all smiles ready for our baby girl to arrive!!

Addie's heart rate dropped a few times, so I had to have some oxygen.

After 8 hours of labor (and an epidural of course!) and 50 minutes of pushing, Addison Faith Ainsworth arrived at 3:36 P.M.  She weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 in. long. We absolutely could NOT believe how big she was!!  Do you remember the ultrasound estimate??  7 lbs.  yeah right!

Induction Day!

I had in my mind that Addie would come early.  The boys were 7 weeks early, so I just had in my mind that Addie would be 2 weeks early.  Well, that didn't happen and the week of her due date my body was hardly making any progress for her arrival.  I really didn't want to be induced.  I don't know why, but I just wanted her to come when she wanted to.  However, I changed my mind when I realized she was taking her sweet time and my belly was only getting more and more ENORMOUS!  I had an ultrasound at the end that estimated her weight at 7 lbs.  My parents were already in town and ready, so we decided that Tuesday, September 27th was the perfect birthday for Addie!

Daddy of the Year!!

Will really is a WONDERFUL Daddy in many different ways, but one of the things he loves to do is take the boys on "adventures", as he calls them.  This adventure included driving 3 hours to a hunting/outdoor expo.  I seriously couldn't beleive he was braving this alone, but he did and everyone had a great time!  

He stopped for lunch, which still terrifies me to do by myself!

The wagon was a smart choice!

They enjoyed a hay ride.

Time before Addie

The weeks before Addie's arrival....

We bought new blue jeans for fall.

(very difficult to find jeans to fit Hays!  They don't make toddler slims.  Old Navy adjustable waist has been a life saver!)

We purchased Halloween costumes.

I had every intention of getting them different costumes, but they both wanted the cow.  So, I took the chicken back and they will both be cows :)

(note the missing shoe.  Hunter is ALWAYS missing one shoe!)

 We cheered on our Auburn Tigers!!!

We welcomed Daddy home with big hugs in our puddle jumpers!  Random, but they found them and wanted to put them on!

We enjoyed the awesome weather!!

We ate snacks, of course.

Buses, trucks, or tractors are always involved!

We displayed all their artwork from school in their room!

We went on LOTS of Kabota (aka..."Bo"-Hunter and "Bota"-Hays) rides around our house.

Congratulations Briss!

Our nanny, Briss, became a U.S. Citizen a couple of months ago and we threw her a surprise party at our church!  Congrats Briss!

Sweet friends and Explanation of the Horse!

A few weeks ago, some friends took me to eat at Rosie's to celebrate Addie!  They all pitched in to give me a girly pack 'n play for Addie that I love!  Thanks girls!

A few posts back, I said that Will brought home a miniature horse.  Well, meet Prince.  Will brought him  all the way from a farm in Pennsylvania.  I thought he was joking when he first told me, but I should have known better :)  I must admit, he is a really sweet and gentle horse.  Hays is still a little timid around him, but Hunter wants to ride him and feed him apples all by himself!

Oh, did I not mention the buggy??  Will bought him from an Amish guy and therefore Prince came with his very own Amish buggy!  haha!

I still can't control my laughter, when I pull in my driveway and see this...

This has nothing to do with the horse, just a cute picture of them playing in the dirt!

Another favorite is going in the garage and climbing in the stroller all by themselves!

First Dove Hunt!

On opening day of dove season, Will was so excited about taking the boys this year!  We only stayed out there for about 45 minutes, but I thought it was a great first-time experince for them.  I think it is so fun that Will loves to bond with them doing such guy stuff!  Addie and I will defineity have some shopping trips planned on days like this :)
